“Regulatory Network Meeting”

6-8 December 2023

Dusit Thani Laguna, Phuket, Thailand

The Regulatory Network Meeting (RNM) is held as an international forum for regulators and academia from across the globe to work together to generate innovative thinking, discuss solutions and ways forwards on bettering the telecommunications and broadcasting regulations.

The main objective of RNM is firstly to create a forum where telecom and broadcasting regulators can exchange experiences and expertise with the goal to provide insightful, yet practical regulatory policies. Secondly, a forum for academia and regulators to share ideas related to regulations for future works, policies, and regulations. Key regulatory challenges to be addressed this year include competition, merger and acquisition, privacy and cross-border of data, over-the-top and artificial intelligence, digital divide, and technology and public policy.

By hosting this RNM forum, the Office of The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has brought together higher-level representatives, including government executives, regulatory commissioners, academia and professionals from telecom and broadcasting sectors. This year, the RNM will be organized at Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket, one of Thailand’s most beloved island destinations, on 6-8th December 2023. The forum will be informally started by welcoming dinner along the beautiful beaches and sunset on the night of December 6th. To be able to experience the local vibrant, accommodations, surrounded by lush gardens and the glittering Andaman Ocean, will be generously provided to all the attendees by the NBTC.
